Our vision: To provide children an opportunity to voice their opinions and make a difference in the daily life at school. Children are taught the key British Value of democracy.
Cannon Lane Mini Parliament consists of two peer-elected children from each class, one serving as the main representative and one as the deputy. The purpose of our Mini Parliament is that the children at Cannon Lane have their views and opinions heard to make positive changes in the school.
The Mini Parliament meets regularly with Miss Hallett, and minutes can be found through the parliament secretary.
The Mini Parliament have been involved in improving the outside play area, school meals, and meeting with local government. Come and see our members of parliament in the downstairs hall on the display.

Each year, Cannon Lane Mini Parliament visits the Eastcote War Memorial for a Remembrance Day Service. This year, we were lucky enough to join members of the local community also at the memorial. They really enjoyed their walk down. Thank you to all the parents and family members who came along to support us.
