Our Bespoke Curriculum
Our Learning Superheroes
At Cannon Lane we have put together a bespoke curriculum for our children. We believe that the Characteristics of Effective Teaching and Learning are absolutely key to enabling our children to become confident, self-regulated, resilient and independent learners. Therefore, we have based our Curriculum Goals on our 8 Learning Superheroes. (See the bottom of page for our Curriculum Goals.)
Our bespoke curriculum is written to link both the EYFS and the Characteristics together in a fun and child-centred way, incorporating the key experiences we provide for our children across the year. At Cannon Lane our children will aim to become Learning Superheroes and we have 8 bespoke Learning Superheroes with different characteristics for them to aspire to.

Curriculum Goals
We take our Medium Term plans from our Curriculum Goals and then we plan more detailed weekly engaging activities and challenges for the children to do based on the Missions, our observations of the children and on the children's own interests.
