• School colours are brown and white.

• Grey trousers, grey shorts, grey skirt or grey pinafore dress.

• Brown school jumper or brown cardigan with the Cannon Lane Primary School logo.

• White polo shirts either with the Cannon Lane Primary School logo or without logo, plain white shirt or white blouse with a Cannon Lane tie. (Note: Ties must be worn when wearing a shirt).

• Children may wear yellow and white checked Summer dresses which are available from high street retailers, the Summer uniform may be worn from Easter until the Autumn Half Term

• Flat black school shoes. Please select velcro closure for shoes if the child is not confident at tying laces as these can be very time-consuming for teachers and support staff. Boots and trainers are not suitable for school wear. 

• White or grey socks, black or grey tights.

Physical Education

A separate PE kit is not required for children in Reception. For all other years the following is required:

• Plain white T-shirt
• Black shorts (black lycra or footless tights may be worn under shorts)
• Black joggers and sweatshirt (plain, no logos). No hoods please for safety reasons
• Black or white trainers for outdoors PE.
• No jewellery, no watches
• Earrings must not be worn on PE/games or swimming days.

Swimming

• Swimming hat
• One-piece swimsuit or lycra trunks (no Bermuda style shorts)
• Towel
• Hair
• Long hair must be tied back – hair bands or “scrunchies” must be black, brown, white or yellow.
• Please avoid extreme hairstyles
• Head scarves should be either black, white or brown

Jewellery / Make-Up

Pupils may wear small gold or silver studs but these must be removed for PE, games and swimming. The wearing of religious jewellery should be discussed with the Head Teacher. Nail varnish and make-up should not be worn in school.

A complete range of our uniform is available to buy from Angels in Rayners Lane and Kevins in Pinner. 

The school stocks a small amount of second-hand school uniform which may be available to purchase for a small donation.  Second hand uniform sales are organised at different points throughout the school year.
